Professional Grade Resins

All of our pipet tips start with high quality non-cytotoxic medical grade 100% virgin polypropylenes. Many of our resins are formulated exclusively for us to our stringent specifications. We avoid low quality commodity resins and recycled plastics that other pipet tip manufacturers use and we pre-test all new resins in our research lab from molded samples. These samples are analyzed to see if extractables that interfere with PCR or DNA are present. Although commonly found in polypropylene, we exclude resins that contain these contaminants since they can give you unpredictable lab results.

Pipet tip design is an art. Most pipet tips from pipettor manufacturers are designed to fit only one pipettor brand. We design our tips to fit a multitude of pipettors — a much tougher challenge. Wide Seals Are Always Better

Our pipet tips are designed with wide sealing areas instead of sealing rings. Sealing rings limit the seal area to tiny contact strips, and are easy to damage. A wider seal assures that tips will seal easily and consistently without leaking on your pipettors.
